Hummingbirds

Hummingbirds are known as the smallest birds in the world. But the smallest of them, is the hummingbird of Cuba. Some hummingbirds move their wings about 4,200 times every minute! That means, 70 times every second! A hummingbird of Cuba move its wings about 200 times every second, at premarital behavior exhibition. It can live only 3 years, it can reach 5 to 6 centimeters and it weighs about 2 grams. Male is smaller than female. Their nests are as small as a walnut. The iridescent wings is an expressive characteristic of most male hummingbirds. Their colour help them to attract female hummingbirds. When a male hummingbird searches for a female hummingbird, it looks for a place that certainly its wings will shine. All hummingbirds are colorful. They have amazing colors!
