Elephants
There are many species of elephants. Today we will learn some facts about African elephant and Asian elephant. African elephant can live 60 years. It can reach 5.5 to 7.5 meters. Males can weigh about 6,300 kilos and females can weigh about 3,500 kilos. Their tusks can reach 2.5 meters and they can weigh about 45 kilos. African elephant is the biggest mammal on the land. They live at sub-Saharan Africa. They eat trees' barks, birches, leaves and grass. You can recognize them from their ears, which has shame of Africa. When an Africa elephants feels hot, it move their ears like a fan. Asian elephants can live 60 years, like their African cousins, they can reach 5.5 to 6.4 meters. Males can weigh about 5,400 kilos and females can weigh about 2,700 kilos. This specie is endangered. Their ears are not as big as African elephant's. Only males' tusk are visible.
